Dominik Equit
Privately, I get excited about the variety of flavors in rum — and, to the dismay of those around me, can talk about it for a very long time. Professionally, I'm passionate about turning smart ideas into lasting change — together with people who want to take responsibility and create impact.
The best time for a fresh start is now.
My areas of expertise.
A critical transformation program can look good for a long time, even when it has already spun out of control. Status traffic lights remain green while risks mount, decision-making stalls, quality becomes unclear, and the expected benefits become increasingly difficult to prove...
My background
His career began in strategy consulting — with lots of concepts, long nights and the realization that good slides alone don't bring about change. The move into delivery-focused consulting brought exactly what still drives him today: people, responsibility and visible impact. It fits like a fist on a flip chart.
But this conviction was shaped much earlier. Inspired by the wish to help people — and, surprisingly, by a US medical series from the '90s. The idea of putting skills to good use and stepping into different perspectives stays with him to this day. It didn't become medicine — but a business degree and then consulting. Almost the same. Just with flip charts instead of a scalpel.
In 2011, a loose exchange among consultants gave rise to an idea: learn from each other, help each other grow and consistently put client value at the center. From this attitude, grandega emerged in 2016 together with Stefanie Biberger — with the ambition to rethink consulting: less buzzword bingo, more clarity, responsibility and effectiveness. In 2018 it really got going: out of theory, into reality.
This attitude shapes his work to this day. Dominik believes in human-centered transformations, where technology remains a means to an end – for him, employees and clients aren't KPIs with legs, but the center of everything.
He says about himself: "A consultant with a 'let's-just-do-it complex' who can't stop being critical – and would rather implement change than talk about it." Anyone who takes design seriously, values plain talk over buzzwords and wants to implement change effectively will find in him a critical sparring partner with conviction and a pragmatic eye on delivery.
