What exactly is Transformation Assurance?

Transformation Assurance is the independent view of a critical transformation program. We check whether status, risks, quality, readiness, governance and value contribution hold up. The goal isn't more reporting, but better steerability and clear decision bases for management and steering.

When does Transformation Assurance make sense?

When an initiative is business-critical, involves many parties or where the first uncertainty is already setting in. Typical signals are soft status reports, late decisions, unclear dependencies, weak quality gates, rising budget pressure or the feeling that the program officially looks better than it actually feels.

Is this an audit?

No. An audit usually assesses in hindsight and checks compliance. Transformation Assurance works closer to the running program. We make visible where steering, risks, quality or readiness stand today, and derive concrete options for action from it. It's about early warning, decision-making ability and effective course correction.

We already have a PMO. So why do we need Assurance?

A PMO is often part of the existing program structure. Transformation Assurance adds an independent perspective on the client side. We validate whether reporting, risks, decisions, quality gates and partner contributions really hold up. Especially in complex programs, this view helps spot blind spots early.

What concrete outcome do you get in the end?

Depending on the starting point, the outputs are health checks, risk and quality heatmaps, readiness assessments, KPI dashboards or decision papers. What matters isn't the format, but the effect: management and governance bodies see more clearly where the program stands, which risks are critical and which decisions need to be made now.
