Consumer Goods Industry

Between rising margin pressure, volatile supply chains and the need to react to the market faster, optimizing internal processes is no longer a "nice to have" – it's vital for survival. Yet the very transformation programs launched to achieve it become the biggest challenge of all.

Your future viability depends on successful transformations. We support you at the decisive levers: from building a robust foundation (Transformation Assurance), through shaping your target organization and selecting the right software and partners, to anchoring change in your organization for the long term through change & enablement (OCM).

63%
Lack of digital skills

According to a Gartner study, 63% of executives in the consumer goods industry see their employees' lack of digital skills as the biggest hurdle to a successful transformation.

25%
Inaccurate forecasts

According to PwC, forecasting errors of 25–35% are not uncommon in the consumer goods industry. The consequence: lost revenue from supply shortages or high costs from overstocking.

40%
Lost productivity

Up to 40% of working time is lost to inefficient processes and system breaks. In an industry under high margin pressure, that's a luxury no company can afford.

How do you make sure our transformation works in daily business, even with campaigns, seasonal peaks and availability pressure running in parallel?

We align steering and priorities so the organization stays able to act even in peak phases. That includes clear decision paths, a robust delivery rhythm and transparency about dependencies and bottlenecks. The goal is reliable delivery in everyday work – not a program that only looks good in committees.

How do you approach an ERP transformation without slowing down our day-to-day operations?

We start with a clean setup of goals, scope, value logic and governance, and safeguard delivery through clear quality and decision checkpoints. That keeps the program steerable and the organization able to work, even when business peaks, supply-chain issues and monthly or quarterly pressure run in parallel.

We already have implementation partners and service providers. Why do we also need grandega?

Because in consumer goods organizations, several partners often touch processes, data and systems at the same time. That's exactly where friction, delays and extra costs arise. We create the structure in which partners deliver reliably – with clarity on roles and interfaces, a clear steering logic, measurable delivery performance and an escalation mechanism that surfaces problems early.

How do you prove progress and value when, in the end, service levels, availability and lead times are what count most?

We make value measurable through indicators that matter in everyday work. These include stability and quality in core processes, reliable data, fewer manual loops, better predictability and the adoption of new ways of working. The result is a status picture that isn't just formally green, but actually robust.

What do you do when a transformation program is off track and we can't afford prolonged disruption?

We clarify the situation quickly, make causes visible and restore the ability to act. That means sharpening priorities, resetting the plan and expectations, repairing decision paths and managing risks consistently. That's how the program comes back on course – without further destabilizing day-to-day business.
