What I'm passionate about
I am passionate about the variety of flavors of rum - and for the displeasure of my private environment, I can talk about it for a very long time. I also like improving systems and tools.

A wise person once said...
"The best time for a new beginning is now" or "drinking rum before noon makes you a pirate, not an alcoholic".

He was never really into “learning something proper.” Instead, he elevated PowerPoint to an art form and insisted that “consulting” could be a valid life plan – and right after graduation, he dove headfirst into the world of strategy consulting. Lots of talking, little sleep, polished slides.
Then came implementation consulting. And suddenly: people. Responsibility. Impact. And honestly? That’s when he knew: this fits like a fist on a flipchart.
The wish to help people had always been there – shaped by a US series from the 90s: Pretender. The series was about Jarod, a guy who could do almost anything, put himself into anyone’s shoes, and use his abilities to help people. Admittedly, the series was terrible, but its message left a mark on him.
Medicine was off the table due to GPA requirements – so business studies and then consulting. Almost the same. Just with flipcharts instead of a scalpel.
In 2011, something began that he is proud to call grandega today – back then still an informal exchange among consultants who wanted more: learning from each other, lifting one another up, and maximizing client value. No buzzword bingo, just genuine interest in change.
Five years later, in 2016, “What one wants to give, the other can use” turned into a business model. Together with Stefanie Biberger, he founded grandega – out of conviction and with the ambition to rethink the concept of “management consulting.” In 2018 it really took off: out of theory, into reality.
To this day, he is part of grandega – sometimes visionary, sometimes pragmatic, always with a healthy dose of skepticism toward dogmas and simple truths. He believes in the creative power of the individual and in digital innovation, in human-centered transformations – for him, employees and clients are not KPIs with legs; they are the center of everything.
People say about him:
“Passionate leader of digital innovation and IT-driven transformation across industries to maximize the benefits for the customer.”
He says about himself:
“A consultant with a ‘let’s-do-it’ complex, who just can’t stop being critical – and usually finds good PowerPoint transitions.”
If you feel like shaping things, want to connect, or are looking for someone who doesn’t immediately throw buzzwords around but prefers straight talk, reach out to him – he’s rarely right, but always has an opinion.
